Transport Enterprise Leasing (TEL) in Chattanooga, TN seeks a Senior Accountant for an 18-month project to strengthen accounting operations, controls, and month-end close. You'll mentor staff, support audits, and ensure tax/compliance while partnering with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has deep accounting knowledge, strong Excel skills, and experience with audits, tax compliance, and system improvements, in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• BA/BS in Accounting or related field required.
• CPA or CPA-eligible preferred.
• Experience in public accounting is a plus.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.

Aufgaben

• Support audits and tax compliance efforts.
• Strengthen month-end close processes and controls.
• Ensure accuracy of financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor staff and lead process improvements.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners on accounting policy.
• Maintain accurate documentation and accounting records.
• Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and analyses.
• Drive continuous improvement across people, processes, and systems.
