Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong GAAP knowledge.
• Experience in distribution, energy, transportation, manufacturing, logistics, or related industries preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, Power Query, and financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports while supporting month-end and year-end close activities.
• Analyze financial performance, investigate variances, and provide meaningful insights to management.
• Support inventory accounting, operational reporting, and margin analysis across multiple business lines.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and financial modeling initiatives.
• Support audit, compliance, and internal control processes while ensuring adherence to GAAP.
• Drive process improvements, ERP optimization, and reporting automation projects.
