Job summary

CFS is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our client’s distribution accounting team in Wisconsin. This hands-on role offers leadership to accounting staff and opportunities to mentor, with a casual, team‑oriented culture.

You will supervise daily accounting activities, support month-end close, review staff work, and partner with leadership on process improvements, while enjoying a hybrid work schedule (2 days remote per week) and clear advancement paths.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Manufacturing or distribution experience preferred.
• Hands-on role with leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting activities, including general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Review the work of accounting staff and provide coaching and direction.
• Assist with financial reporting and internal controls.
• Partner with leadership on process improvements and special projects.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across accounting activities.
