Day to Day

A client of Insight Global is seeking an Accounting professional to join the Corporate Accounting division on a year-long contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SEC reporting, technical accounting, and financial statement preparation. This role involves managing high-complexity transactions, collaborating with accounting policy teams, and ensuring accurate implementation of accounting conclusions. You’ll analyze complex accounts, prepare reconciliations, and contribute to TVA-wide training on financial reporting processes and controls. A CPA certification is strongly preferred, and experience in the fuel or energy sector is a plus. You’ll also evaluate and improve key business processes to enhance internal controls and efficiency. Staying current with SEC regulations, SOX compliance, and industry best practices is essential.
