ServiceTitan is looking for a Senior Accountant with strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills to join the GL team. This role is responsible for key areas of the general accounting function including the monthly and quarterly accounting close processes and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. In addition, this position will work closely with Senior Accounting Manager on key processes, policies, and the implementation of controls to drive consistent accounting compliance with SOX requirements.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform general accounting functions and other month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries while meeting global close deadlines.
  • Reconcile, analyze, and resolve questions regarding assigned general ledger accounts timely and accurately.
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations that include multi-currency accounts and complex, high-volume bank accounts.
  • Manage fixed assets for subsidiaries.
  • Analyze monthly and quarterly financial results, providing flux explanations for significant variances to management.
  • Support the internal and external audit process, with specific focus on collecting & submitting key financial and accounting data timely.
  • Assist with the development, maintenance and documentation of all policies and procedures related to assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Support management in completing special projects and other tasks as assigned.
  • Partner with the Internal systems team and support initiatives to enhance accounting accuracy and automation of accounting processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Tax and FP&A.

What You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years of accounting experience; CPA preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting.
  • Ability to identify and analyze problems and provide solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in Workday Financials preferred.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office applications: Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong work ethic, and accountability.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize results.

ServiceTitan is committed to fair and equitable compensation for all of our employees. We thoughtfully consider a wide range of factors when determining individual compensation. The expected salary range for this role for candidates residing in the United States is between $85,700 USD - $114,600 USD. Compensation for candidates residing outside the United States will vary by location and the specific salary range will be discussed during the hiring process. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
