Job summary

LHH is partnering with a well-established privately held organization in the Kansas City area to hire a Senior Accountant who will join its growing finance team. This role blends traditional accounting with business analysis and offers high visibility with leadership.

You will lead key areas of the monthly close, prepare and review reconciliations and journal entries, analyze results, support budgeting and forecasting, assist with audits, and seek opportunities to streamline processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 3–7 years of accounting experience
• Strong month-end close experience
• Collaborative and supportive leadership style
• Interest in FP&A and strategic finance activities
