Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC seeks a Senior Accountant in Teterboro, NJ to own the full accounting cycle across multiple entities and support leadership with financial analysis.

You will manage month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, payroll (ADP), and collaborate with CPAs and banks, mentoring staff and driving process improvements in a hands-on, in-office role.

Qualifications

• Senior-level accounting experience with full-cycle responsibilities.
• Experience maintaining GL and performing month-end close.
• Strong reconciliation skills across bank, inventory, A/R, and A/P.
• Payroll processing experience, preferably using ADP.
• Experience supervising staff and collaborating with CPAs.
• Experience preparing financial reports.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and oversee month-end close activities.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Manage accounts receivable activities, customer payments, account reconciliations, and credit reviews.
• Reconcile inventory, investigate variances, and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Process and oversee payroll administration through ADP.
• Supervise accounts payable and billing staff while serving as a backup resource when needed.
