Job summary

Wertz & Associates in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a top public accounting firm in the area.

The role offers exposure to a variety of audit, accounting, and tax engagements, with significant client-facing responsibilities and opportunities to take ownership of engagements. You will lead compilation, review and audit engagements, plan attest engagements, evaluate internal controls, mentor staff accountants, and support firm initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of public accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Leading and completing compilation, review, and audit engagements.

Compensation:

$75,000 – $100,000 base + bonus potential
