Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is assisting in recruiting a Senior Accountant in Minnesota to join a manufacturing-focused finance team. You will own month-end close, prepare financial statements, manage cost accounting, and support budgeting and forecasting using SAP and Power BI.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance and 3+ years in manufacturing accounting, with strong GAAP knowledge and the ability to communicate financial insights to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, financial reporting, and general ledger functions.
• Experience with SAP and/or Global Shop Solutions preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience using Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, KPIs, and management reports.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing financial planning activities.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end close.
• Perform detailed analysis of financial results versus budget, forecast, and prior periods.
• Ensure accurate cost accounting and intercompany transaction reporting.
• Support external audits, internal controls, and GAAP compliance initiatives.
