Job summary

CFS in Minnesota is seeking a finance leader to own budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for a growing manufacturing business. You will drive KPIs, provide insights to leadership on financial trends and operational results, and strengthen internal controls with GAAP compliance.

You’ll interact with SAP and Power BI in a fast-paced environment and help advance manufacturing cost accounting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3+ years of accounting and financial analysis experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong cost accounting and manufacturing finance expertise.
• Experience with SAP and/or Global Shop Solutions.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI skills.
• Proven experience managing general ledger activities, financial close processes, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and periodic forecast updates.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close activities in partnership with Corporate Accounting.
• Prepare and analyze monthly KPIs, financial statements, and business performance reporting.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accurate intercompany accounting and eliminations.
• Manage audit processes and support regulatory compliance efforts.
• Review and strengthen internal controls while ensuring adherence to GAAP standards.
