Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Senior Fixed Asset Accountant for a hybrid Seattle role. You will manage fixed asset accounting, depreciation, reconciliations, and reporting, ensuring ASC 842 lease compliance and accurate month-end closes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a public company.
• Experience with fixed asset accounting and ASC 842 lease accounting.
• Experience with an enterprise ERP (Oracle, SAP).
• Strong analytical and communication skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, depreciation, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Perform lease accounting activities in accordance with ASC 842.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and month-end close tasks.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting procedures for efficiency and accuracy.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and analysis.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects and system improvements.
