Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in engineering.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and related principles.
• Proficiency in month-end close, quarterly reporting and consolidations.
• Experience researching unusual billing issues.
• Experience producing management accounting reports and margin analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong analytical ability.
• CPA certification preferred.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Permanent Senior Accountant in the Engineering industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where teamwork and leadership are crucial for success. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of accounting activities including month end close, quarterly reporting, research unusual billing, consolidations process including journal entries, management accounting reports operational trends, and margin analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee month-end close procedures, including preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and analysis of results.
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP, including consolidations.
• Research and resolve unusual billing issues, working closely with the billing department to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct consolidation processes, including the preparation and review of journal entries.
• Generate management accounting reports on operational trends, providing insightful analysis to support strategic decision making.
• Perform margin analysis to identify potential areas of improvement and cost savings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with all internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Provide support for internal and external audits.

Qualifications:
