Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a highly capable Senior Accountant in Seattle, WA, to manage month-end close, quarterly reporting, and consolidations. The role emphasizes accuracy in unusual billing research, margin analysis, and cross-functional collaboration across engineering finance teams.

The successful candidate should bring 5+ years of accounting experience, GAAP proficiency, and strong analytical skills. A CPA is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the Engineering industry.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in month-end close, quarterly reporting, and consolidation processes.
  • Experience in researching and resolving unusual billing issues.
  • Experience with management accounting reports and margin analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
  • CPA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide support for internal and external audits.

Job Details

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Permanent Senior Accountant in the Engineering industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where teamwork and leadership are crucial for success. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of accounting activities including month end close, quarterly reporting, research unusual billing, consolidations process including journal entries, management accounting reports operational trends, and margin analysis.
