Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles.
• ERP system experience and advanced Excel skills.
• CPA or CPA-track preferred.

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant in Scottsdale, AZ. Overview: Our client, a growing manufacturing company, is seeking a Senior Accountant to support core accounting operations and financial reporting. This role will partner closely with operations and leadership to ensure accurate financial data and support company growth initiatives.

• Senior Accountant will perform month-end close activities including journal entries and reconciliations
• Support cost accounting and inventory analysis
• Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting
• Analyze manufacturing variances and production costs
• As a Senior Accountant, you will support internal controls and process improvements
• Work cross-functionally with operations and supply chain teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles
• ERP system experience and advanced Excel skills
• CPA or CPA-track preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
