Turo is seeking a Senior Accountant to own the USA general ledger, post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and partner with cross-functional teams to support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will focus on month-end close while driving process improvements and supporting audits in a fast-paced tech environment. This hybrid, in-office role is based in San Francisco with collaboration across finance and operations.
About the team Turo is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our fast-growing team. You will be responsible for owning the USA general ledger activities including posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and partnering with cross functional teams across the organization to support month end, quarter end and year-end close activities. You will report directly to the Accounting Manager where you will focus primarily on month end close activities while also supporting the accounting team with key initiatives to upgrade the efficiency of our close activities and improve the overall control environment. For this role, the target base salary range in San Francisco is $120,000 - $150,000 annually. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits. In general, our ranges reflect the market-based target for new hire salaries based on the level and location of the role. Within the range, individual pay is determined by objective factors assessed during the application and interview process, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Turo highly values having employees working in-office to foster a collaborative work environment and company culture. This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Turo will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
