Job summary

CBS Interactive, a division of Skydance, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support general accounting operations on a fast-paced team. The role involves ownership of month-end closes, journal entries, intercompany processes, and corporate reporting.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of accounting experience, strong communication, and solid Excel/Oracle system skills. This onsite role offers standard Monday–Friday hours with potential for cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct month-end and quarter-end close and take ownership of journal entries preparation, account reconciliations and analysis.
• Take charge of full cycle intercompany process and reporting of various divisions and liaison with internal and external business partners.
• Take part in various quarterly and annual reporting to Corporate.
• Perform flux analysis on Balance Sheet and P&L accounts.
• Participate in SOX testing, audits, and annual tax package preparation.
• Provide backup coverage in other accounting areas.
• Contribute to department and organization special projects, as assigned.

Work Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

This position is for an experienced Senior Accountant to support the general accounting operations with a dynamic team in the CBS Interactive division and Direct-to-Consumer segment. The role requires a team player who is eager to learn new skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment working on projects of all sizes.

Basic Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
• Minimum 4+ years of related experience, with solid accounting concept/knowledge.
• Solid oral and written communication skills.
• Strong work ethics and an acute attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Timely of communication flow and status on responsibilities and deadlines.
• Good initiative, with the ability to work independently and in a team atmosphere.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet required deadlines.
• Strong PC skills including advanced Excel, ability to write complex formulas, and the ability to quickly pick up new systems.

Additional Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Financials and Oracle Fusion or similar systems.
