Job summary

AESSEAL is seeking a Financial Planning and Budgeting professional to lead the development and oversight of the company’s financial plans, budgets, and forecasting. You will maintain ledgers, support strategic decisions with predictive models, and ensure accurate close processes across multiple locations.

The role emphasizes internal controls, audits, and staff training to strengthen financial operations and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and oversee the company’s financial plans and budgets to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Create and maintain predictive financial models to support strategic decision-making and financial forecasting.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including day-to-day upkeep of the nominal ledger and related balance sheet reconciliations.
• Analyze historical and current financial data to provide insights into the company’s financial status.
• Prepare regular and ad hoc financial reports, including calculating sales commissions and related accruals.
• Perform general ledger account reconciliations and ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Collaborate with the Head of Finance to identify and implement process improvements to enhance departmental efficiency and financial operations.
• Maintain and monitor internal control systems across all business locations to ensure compliance and safeguard company assets.
• Assist with external financial audits and internal control audits by providing necessary documentation and insights.
• Serve as backup for the transactional accounting team, performing related tasks as needed to ensure seamless financial operations.
• Provide training and guidance to new and existing staff to enhance their understanding of accounting processes and systems.
• Perform ad hoc financial analyses and manage additional projects as required by business needs.
