Job summary

AAA Oregon/Idaho is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Accounting team at our administrative headquarters in downtown Portland. This onsite role supports GAAP‑compliant financial reporting and month‑end close.

Responsibilities include journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and assisting with financial statements in a non‑profit/corporate setting. Competitive pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience (corporate, non-profit or public accounting).
• Understanding of GAAP; strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, Power Query, etc.).
• Microsoft Great Plains experience preferred but not required.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting workpapers.
• Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and organizational accounting policies.

Desired Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience (corporate, non-profit or public accounting).
