Imprimis Group is seeking a Senior Accountant in Plano, TX. This hybrid role (after 90 days) is full-time and direct hire, offering $70,000–$80,000 in salary plus benefits.

You will oversee day-to-day accounting across multiple entities and partner with leadership to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting. You will manage the general ledger, month-end close, AR/AP, budgeting, cash flow analysis, and financial statements while supporting tax processes and internal controls within a growing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong General Ledger and month-end close experience.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting preferred.
• Working knowledge of GAAP.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage confidential financial information with discretion.
• CPA or active CPA candidate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple entities across the portfolio.
• Maintain the general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Process and oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and collections.
• Assist with budgeting, cash flow reporting, and financial analysis.
• Monitor budget-to-actual performance and identify variances.
• Support annual tax preparation, audits, and CPA relationships.
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation records.
• Review contracts and leases for accounting implications.
• Administer QuickBooks Online and maintain organized records.
• Improve accounting procedures and internal controls.
• Provide guidance to Accounting Assistant and collaborate with CFO.

Imprimis Group has partnered with a growing privately held family office in Plano to identify an experienced Senior Accountant to join their finance team. What You'll Do:

As the Senior Accountant, you'll oversee day-to-day accounting functions across multiple entities and partner closely with leadership to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong General Ledger and month-end close experience.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting preferred.
• Working knowledge of GAAP.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage confidential financial information with discretion.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA or active CPA candidate.
• Family office or closely held business experience.
• Experience in real estate, construction, logistics, hospitality, or nonprofit accounting.
• Exposure to treasury or bill-pay platforms.
• Interest in leveraging AI and automation tools to improve accounting efficiency.
