Senior Accountant

Location: Central Phoenix | Hybrid Schedule

Salary Range: $90,000 - $105,000

In This Role, You Will:

• Execute monthly closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports aligned with GAAP.
• Manage the general ledger and review monthly income statements and balance sheets.
• Interpret and record lease transactions according to ASC 842 standards.
• Ensure proper lease classification, disclosure, and accurate transaction recognition.
• Oversee lease schedules, and reconcile right-of-use assets and liabilities.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives in accounting.
• Analyze financial outcomes and provide insights into KPIs.
• Maintain fixed asset records, calculate depreciation, and perform reconciliations.
• Support special projects while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive data.
• Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional teams for accurate reporting.
• Research and apply accounting standards for complex scenarios.

You're a Great Fit If You Have:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics.
• Minimum of 6 years' experience.
• Proven advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ASC 842 (Lease) accounting.
• Knowledge of ASC 606 is preferred.
