Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant in Illinois to support a manufacturing environment in Chicago's South Suburbs. This high-visibility role offers broad exposure to finance and operations leadership and positions you to expand expertise in manufacturing and cost accounting.

You will lead month-end and year-end close, analyze financial statements, assist with budgeting and variance analysis, and partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Manufacturing and/or cost accounting experience preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including account reconciliations and journal entries.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Support inventory accounting, cost analysis, and manufacturing reporting.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls.

Target Compensation: 90k-110k plus bonus
