ROARK is seeking a Senior Accountant to strengthen financial reporting and processes for a growing automotive distribution and retail organization. You will own month-end closes, prepare journal entries, analyze variances, and support audits and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes with timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activity.
• Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reporting packages.
• Support external audits, tax reporting, and compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
• Partner with operational leaders to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiency.
• Mentor and provide guidance to accounting staff and support departmental initiatives.
