Job summary

Connect Search, LLC is partnering with a well-established Oklahoma real estate investment and development company to identify a Senior Accountant who wants to do more than simply close the books.

This role offers growth in a fast-moving environment, with exposure to a NetSuite implementation and opportunities to elevate the finance team through complex accounting work and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• 4+ years of progressive general ledger accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite strongly preferred).
• Public accounting experience is a plus, but industry experience is acceptable.
• Technical accounting research experience is desirable.
• CPA is not required.

Responsibilities

• Own significant portions of the monthly close process.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses.
• Manage complex intercompany reconciliations across multiple entities.
• Maintain accounting for a large portfolio of debt and financing arrangements.
• Research technical accounting questions and recommend GAAP treatment.
• Assist with annual financial statement audits.
• Analyze unusual or non-routine transactions.
• Support NetSuite optimization and process improvements.
• Help strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Partner with leadership on special projects and operational improvements.

What We’re Looking For
