U.S. Cargo Systems in Goldsboro, NC, seeks a Senior Accountant reporting to the Controller to support daily financial transactions, month-end close, and management reporting.
The role ensures policies are followed, analyzes variances, and supports audits while maintaining accurate cash and accounts receivable records. The ideal candidate has a accounting or business degree with related experience in a manufacturing environment and ERP experience (Oracle EBS or Infor Syteline).
Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant provides financial and administrative support by ensuring daily transactions are recorded in a timely manner, maintaining management reporting, analyzing variances, and supporting the month-end close process. The Senior Accountant will ensure that established policies and procedures are followed efficiently, in a timely manner, and accurately.
