We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our fast-paced Finance team. The successful candidate will be key in managing financial operations, contributing to strategic financial planning, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate has a strong background in accrual-based accounting and is excited about managing financial statements, payroll, budgeting, tax, audit, and risk management.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage all accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, cost accounting, inventory, and revenue recognition.
2. Coordinate and lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
3. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
4. Coordinate regulatory reporting.
5. Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
6. Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
7. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
8. Manage compliance with government reporting and tax filings.
9. Develop and document business processes and internal controls.
10. Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
2. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a large organization.
3. Strong knowledge of GAAP, finance, budgeting, and cost control principles.
4. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Ability to work with senior management and mentor team members.
7. Experience in preparing financial statements and managing ledger functions.
8. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
9. Experience with chart of accounts, account reconciliation, and accruals, preferably in real estate or outsourced accounting environments.
