Qualifications

• Approximately five or more years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Strong account-reconciliation and analytical skills.
• Revenue-accounting or ASC 606 experience preferred; energy industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply ASC 606 revenue-recognition guidance.
• Prepare revenue-related journal entries and support the monthly close.
• Reconcile accounts receivable, unbilled revenue, and deferred revenue.
• Support recurring and usage-based billing.
• Analyze AR aging and assist with collection efforts.
• Interpret contracts and determine the appropriate accounting treatment.
• Support production tax credits, royalties, and incentive-based revenue.
• Prepare quarterly and year-end reporting.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Maintain strong process documentation and audit readiness.
• Partner with teams across the business to validate revenue terms and resolve issues.
• Contribute to process-improvement, automation, and special projects.
