Job Title: Senior Accountant (Non-Profit)

We are seeking a motivated Senior Accountant to join our client, a mission-driven non-profit organization, on a 4+ month contract basis. This hybrid role is based in Manhattan, NY.

Compensation Range

$45.00/hr - $60.00/hr, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

1. Manage month- and year-end close processes.
2. Prepare financial statements under GAAP standards.
3. Manage Form 990 preparation.
4. Conduct cash flow reconciliations and analysis.
5. Manage intercompany reconciliations.
6. Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
7. Handle ad hoc projects and reporting.

Qualifications

• Prior non-profit industry experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a strong work ethic under strict deadlines.
