Job summary

HireRight in Nashville, TN is seeking a Senior Accountant to own accounting and reporting for our global Data Cost category. You will partner with Operations, FP&A, and Accounting leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, improve forecasting, and drive process improvements.

This role requires a CPA, at least 2 years of accounting experience (Big 4 preferred), and strong GAAP knowledge. You will manage month-end close, accruals, reconciliations, and support audits, with opportunities to

• Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 and/or BlackLine preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in leveraging AI and automation tools to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly accounting, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting for global data costs.
• Partner with Operations, Finance Analytics, and FP&A to ensure accurate cost reporting and forecasting.
• Analyze cost trends and explain monthly fluctuations.

Overview

We're seeking a Senior Accountant to own the accounting and reporting for one of HireRight's largest global expense categories, Data Cost. This role partners closely with Operations, FP&A, and Accounting leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, improve forecasting, and drive process improvements across the organization.

This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA who enjoys combining strong technical accounting skills with business partnership, data analysis, and process improvement.

This is a hybrid role requiring three onsite days per week based in our downtown Nashville, TN HQ location.
