Somatus is seeking a Senior Accountant to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial records under US GAAP. This role drives close processes, analyzes variances, and collaborates with FP&A, Operations, HR/Payroll, and external auditors to improve controls and reporting.
The ideal candidate has 3–4+ years of progressive accounting experience, a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, and preferably CPA with Big 4 exposure.

The Senior Accountant is a critical individual contributor responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of the Company’s financial records and reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP. This role goes beyond transactional accounting and is designed for a high-performing professional who can own complex accounting areas, apply technical judgment, and drive continuous improvement across close, reporting, and control processes. A successful Senior Accountant is intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and capable of operating independently while partnering cross-functionally with Finance, FP&A, Operations, HR/Payroll, and external auditors.

Compensation:
$95,000 to $110,000 per year

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and geographic location and may fall outside of the range shown above. In addition, this position may be eligible for a discretionary performance-based bonus in accordance with the Company's applicable incentive compensation plans.
