UTEC is seeking a Senior Accountant in Lowell, MA to join our Finance team. The role leads monthly closes, owns complex balance-sheet reconciliations, and supports journal entries and financial statement analysis under the Controller.

The Senior Accountant is a key member of UTEC’s Finance team responsible for independently managing complex accounting activities and helping ensure accurate, timely, well-supported, and audit-ready financial records.
This role leads assigned components of the monthly and annual close, owns designated complex balance-sheet, prepares and reviews selected journal entries, and supports analysis of monthly financial statements for the Controller. The Senior Accountant also serves as a technical accounting resource, supports audits, treasury activities, accounts payable, payroll backup, and subsidiary reporting, owns fixed asset accounting, and helps strengthen internal controls and accounting processes.
The salary range is $80,000–$85,000.
