Job summary

RTS Management, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to support day-to-day financial operations, maintain clean financial records, and ensure accurate reporting for payables, receivables, and bookkeeping. You will report to the Sr.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general bookkeeping.
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online and Ramp (or similar).
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

  • Process and input invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Manage weekly pay run schedules for review and approval.
  • Ensure proper documentation, coding, and approval of expenses.
  • Support vendor communication and payment tracking.
  • Manage vendor onboarding, including collecting and maintaining W-9s and required documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and organized vendor records within accounting systems.
  • Own the end-to-end 1099 process, including tracking eligible vendors, ensuring proper documentation, and preparing and distributing 1099s following year-end.
  • Monitor AP aging and flag any issues or discrepancies.
  • Assist in improving AP workflows, controls, and processes as the company scales.
  • Generate and send invoices to clients and partners.
  • Record incoming payments and reconcile accounts.
  • Track outstanding receivables and flag overdue balances.
  • Partner with internal teams to maintain accurate billing records.
  • Maintain accurate transaction coding in QuickBooks or equivalent systems.
  • Support monthly close processes by ensuring records are complete and up-to-date.
  • Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Help maintain clean and audit-ready financial records.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial tracking across projects and events.
  • Support the finance team with ad hoc requests and reporting needs.
  • Help improve and streamline accounting processes as the company grows.

Role Overview

We're looking for a Senior Accountant to support the day-to-day financial operations of RTS.

This role will work closely with the Sr. Director of Finance & Accounting to ensure that core accounting processes run smoothly and accurately. You'll play a key role in maintaining clean financial records, supporting reporting processes, and helping the team stay on top of payables, receivables, and bookkeeping.

Reporting Structure

Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
  • Process and input invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
