Randstad USA in Las Vegas is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a dual-entity operation serving gaming and manufacturing. You will work with the Controller and CFO to execute end-to-end accounting, perform bank reconciliations, support month-end close, and ensure operational integrity across business units.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of accounting experience, proficiency with Dynamics 365 Business Central, and strong cost accounting and general ledger expertise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience as a Staff or Senior Accountant.
• Experience in Gaming/Casinos, Hospitality, or Manufacturing/Job Costing preferred.
• ERP proficiency with Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar system.
• Strong understanding of General Ledger, month-end close, bank reconciliations, inventory/cost accounting, and Accounts Payable.
• Adaptability to startup-style environments; proactive with ownership of tasks.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).

Responsabilités

• Perform month-end closing activities and reconcile general ledger accounts across entities.
• Maintain bank reconciliations and resolve backlog discrepancies.
• Assist in AP processing and internal controls over payables.
• Oversee cage operations, daily cash/chip reconciliations, and gaming reports for accuracy.
• Support job costing for casino equipment manufacturing operations.
• Identify workflow gaps and help implement standardized accounting processes.

Senior Accountant

Compensation: $80,000 – $100,000 / year (commensurate with experience)

Position Summary We are seeking a versatile, highly resilient, and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join a rapidly growing dual-entity business spanning the gaming and casino manufacturing industries. If you thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments where processes are actively being built, restored, and optimized, this is the opportunity for you. You will work closely with the Controller and CFO to execute end-to-end accounting functions, clean up historical backlogs, perform bank reconciliations, support month-end close, and ensure operational integrity across both gaming and manufacturing business units.

Key Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience as a Staff or Senior Accountant.
• Industry Background: Previous accounting experience in Gaming/Casinos, Hospitality, or Manufacturing/Job Costing is highly preferred.
• ERP Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or similar enterprise ERP system) is strongly preferred.
• Core Accounting Skills: Deep understanding of General Ledger, month-end close, bank reconciliations, inventory/cost accounting, and Accounts Payable.
• Soft Skills & Adaptability:
  • "Thick skin" and a high level of adaptability to navigate startup-style operational environments and rapid company growth/acquisitions.
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset—comfortable wearing multiple hats and taking full ownership of tasks.
• Technical Skills: Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs, data analysis).

Responsibilities

• General Ledger & Month-End Close: Perform month-end closing activities, general ledger account reconciliations, and financial reporting across multiple operating entities.
• Bank Reconciliations & Backlog Resolution: Catch up and maintain bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies across active accounts.
• Accounts Payable & Operational Support: Assist in entering and auditing AP invoices, establishing proper internal controls, and ensuring ownership over payables.
• Gaming & Audit Reconciliation: Oversee and audit cage operations, daily cash/chip reconciliations, and poker room gaming reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Job Costing: Support cost accounting and job-cost tracking for specialized casino equipment manufacturing operations.
• Process Improvement: Identify workflow gaps, implement standardized accounting procedures, and help transition accounting functions into a streamlined shared-services structure.
