Executive Search Placement is partnering with an iconic Las Vegas brand, operating in the C-store, gambling, food & beverage space - who is looking for two Senior Accountants to join their expanding finance team in one of the following areas, or as a "generalist" - able to move and work throughout each of the areas: cash management, payroll & debt, or fixed assets & lease accounting.

In addition to the area of focus, candidates must have experience managing and overseeing complex, shared services accounting functions, including general ledger management and multi-company accounting and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation: 80-95K/With the high end allocated for candidates with supervisory experience
Main Duties in each area of focus:
Payroll accounting
- Reconciling payroll tax liabilities, benefits accruals, PTO accruals, workers' comp accruals
- Multi-entity payroll allocation
- Coordinating with HR/payroll processing - owning the accounting/reconciliation side, not the processing itself
Debt accounting:
- Recording and amortizing debt schedules
- Interest expense accruals and reconciliation
- Classifying current vs. long-term debt correctly on the balance sheet
- Reconciling debt sub-ledgers to the GL, tracking draws/paydowns on any revolving facilities
Cash Management:
- Daily/weekly cash reconciliations across bank
- Bank reconciliations ownership, deposit tie-outs, intercompany cash transfers/sweeps
- Cash flow reporting and monitoring
- Managing high-volume, high-transaction-count reconciliation
Fixed Assets
- Maintain a fixed asset ledger segmented by entity/location
- Track additions, disposals, and transfers between entities
- Apply correct depreciation methods by asset class
- Manage CIP (construction in progress) and capitalize once placed in service
- Reconcile fixed asset subledger to GL monthly, by entity and consolidated
- Support property tax filings and personal property tax renditions per jurisdiction/entity
- Coordinate with operations for physical asset verification/inventory counts across multiple physical locations
Lease Accounting
- Maintain the ASC 842 lease population across all entities including ground leases, equipment leases, retail space, gaming equipment
- Classify leases (operating vs. finance) and calculate/maintain ROU assets and lease liabilities per entity
- Run monthly amortization schedules and journal entries for each lease, then consolidate at the parent level
- Handle intercompany leases between entities
- Track lease modifications, renewals, and terminations
- Reconcile lease balances to the general ledger by entity and support audit requests entity-by-entity and on a consolidated basis
- Coordinate with legal/real estate on new lease agreements so accounting has terms early enough to book correctly
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related field.
- CPA or CMA a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience
- Prior experience in shared services, general ledger management, and multi-company environment is required.
- Proficiency with accounting software, MS Office Suite, particularly strong in Excel.
- Thorough understanding of GAAP
- Ability to analyze large volumes of complex financial information and provide accurate financial reports.
