Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Senior Accountant in Irvine, CA. This permanent, full-time role sits in a six-person accounting team within a growing manufacturing company, offering a hybrid schedule (4 days in office, 1 day remote).

The base salary ranges from $100,000 to $110,000 per year, plus a discretionary 10% bonus, with medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) match benefits. Experience in GL, inventory costing, payroll, and US GAAP is required.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Organizational and communication skills to meet deadlines.

Role: Senior Accountant

Location: Irvine, CA (hybrid: 4 days in office, 1 day work from home, typically Fridays)

Compensation: $100,000 - $110,000 / year base + 10% discretionary bonus

About the Role

The Senior Accountant is a key member of a six-person accounting team (including GL Accountants, AP, Payroll, and A/R) for a growing manufacturing company.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior accounting or comparable role within a manufacturing environment


• Strong general ledger experience, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end and year-end close


• Strong inventory accounting skills and a solid understanding of standard costing


• Hands-on payroll accounting experience (payroll journal entries, accruals, reconciliations)


• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls related to manufacturing accounting


• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel


• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail


• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet reporting deadlines
