Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Senior Accountant for Indianapolis to join a growing company with a great culture. You will manage month-end close, assist in preparing financial statements, and analyze variances to budgets and prior periods.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of accounting experience (public accounting a plus) and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. This full-time role offers growth opportunities within a collaborative finance team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performing assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger closing processes
• Assisting in the development of financial statements and reports
• Reviewing and explaining variances to budget/forecast and to previous reporting periods on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Preparing journal entries and monthly account reconciliations
• Working closely with other functional areas and business management to resolve issues and support achievement of business goals
