Job summary

International Medical Group is seeking a Senior Accountant to be an integral part of our accounting and financial reporting. The role collaborates with multiple departments, primarily supporting the month-end close at our corporate office in Indianapolis with hybrid work options.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's in Accounting with at least 5 years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and solid financial reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and at least 5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong background of accounting knowledge, i.e. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Financial reporting experience; excels in Excel formulas, data manipulation, and reporting charts.

Responsibilities

• Integral to monthly financial close process.
• Preparation of other internal analysis / management reports.
• Preparation of reconciliations and journal entries.
• Carrier reporting and analysis.
• External and internal audit preparation and assistance.
• Facilitation of certain tax filings.
• Other job duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Senior Accountant is an integral piece of the accounting and financial reporting of IMG. The Senior Accountant works directly with other departments, specifically when facilitating month end close.
