Job summary

IMG, a leading international medical insurance company, seeks a Senior Accountant to support monthly close and financial reporting. Located in Indianapolis, IN, with hybrid work options and a strong benefits package, this role focuses on close processes and cross-department collaboration.

The Senior Accountant will prepare reconciliations, journal entries, and management reports, while assisting with internal and external audits and tax filings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and at least 5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong background of accounting knowledge, ie. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Financial reporting experience
• Excellent understanding and working knowledge of Excel – formulas, sort and manipulate data, and format reports and charts

Responsibilities

• Carrier reporting and analysis

The Senior Accountant is an integral piece of the accounting and financial reporting of IMG. The Senior Accountant works directly with other departments, specifically when facilitating month end close.
