Job summary

Tyvan LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant in Houston, TX to report to the Accounting Manager and manage all accounting activities and financial reporting in alignment with GAAP. Responsibilities include maintaining the general ledger, reviewing facilities, reconciling bank accounts, and assisting with audits.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 5-10 years of healthcare experience preferred, strong analytical ability, and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• 5-10 years of experience in a Healthcare setting is preferred.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports and maintain the general ledger.
• Review finances of assigned facilities and reconcile bank accounts.
• Assist with audits and prepare documentation for internal and external auditors.
• Perform account reconciliations and intercompany transactions as needed.
• Analyze fixed assets and suggest process improvements.
• Cross-train within the team to learn and teach processes.
