We are seeking a precise and proactive Interim Senior Accountant to join our team for a defined 3-4 month engagement in a manufacturing environment. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity of our financial operations during a [transition/leave of absence/system implementation]. The ideal candidate is an experience Senior Accountant who can hit the ground running with minimal oversight:

Key Responsibilities

• Month-End Close: Lead and execute the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Audit Support: Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors, providing necessary documentation and schedules.
• Analysis: Perform variance analysis (budget vs. actual) to provide insights into departmental performance.
• Cost Accounting: Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare reports comparing standard to actual production costs.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; previous experience in an interim or consultative capacity is a plus.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA preferred.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Macros). Experience with Ctec manufacturing ERP or similar is preferred
