Job summary

Xplora Search Group is seeking a Senior Accountant to own full-cycle accounting across multiple entities in a private equity-backed property management and residential services platform. You will report directly to the CFO and gain exposure to FP&A, operations, acquisitions, and process improvement.

This role offers rapid career progression and an entrepreneurial environment with high autonomy. Onsite initially, transitioning to hybrid; lunch provided when onsite.

Qualifications

• 2-6+ years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close.
• Public accounting, CPA, or multi-entity experience is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills; NetSuite or similar ERP experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Ambitious, proactive, analytical, and willing to roll up their sleeves.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close process for assigned entities/brands.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
• Analyze operational and financial metrics to identify trends and inefficiencies.
• Assist with audits, tax workpapers, and ad hoc financial projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and automation.
