The Senior Accountant manages the full cycle of accounting, delivers accurate and compliant financial reporting, and provides critical insights into operational and production costs within a heavy manufacturing or mining environment. This role plays a key part in supporting a growing organization by strengthening financial processes, optimizing cost structures, and partnering closely with site leadership to drive operational efficiency.
This role is fully onsite, with standard working hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The environment is that of a critical minerals mining and processing operation in a ramp-up phase, offering exposure to heavy manufacturing and production activities. The Senior Accountant works closely with operational teams and uses SAP Business One and advanced Excel tools to support financial processes. This is a Permanent position based out of Petersburg, VA.
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
