Job summary

Korn Ferry is partnering with a consumer products and distribution organization in their search for a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will support financial reporting, month-end close, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations while partnering with business leaders and assisting with audits and process improvements.

The role requires 3–7 years of accounting experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong GAAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–7 years of accounting experience.
• Strong GAAP, reconciliation, and financial reporting knowledge.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work onsite 4 days a week in Englewood, CO.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepaids, allocations, and intercompany transactions.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and P&L reporting.
• Research accounting issues and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Support audits and audit schedules.
• Partner with business units to improve financial reporting.
• Assist with accounting process and policy improvements.
• Handle ad hoc projects and reporting.
