Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This hybrid role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong accounting foundation and a desire to advance within a stable and forward-thinking organization. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting general accounting operations and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting.

Position / Responsibilities

• Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
• Analyze financial data and variances to support internal reporting and decision-making
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives
• Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as operations, supply chain, and finance
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
• 2–4+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing however open to someone coming from various industries
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, AP/AR, month-end close, and reconciliations
• Experience assisting with financial statement preparation
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
• Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset
