Confidential Employer. in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Senior Accountant to strengthen our finance team. You will manage general ledger activities, monthly close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting to support decision making.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional general ledger (GL) accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and reconciliations.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience with Oracle, Essbase, manufacturing accounting, or SOX compliance is a plus.
• CPA certification is not required.
