Job summary

Greenfield Milling seeks a Senior Accountant to join our manufacturing team. You will manage general ledger integrity, GAAP-compliant financial reporting, and cost accounting analysis, ensuring timely monthly close and accurate reconciliations.

The role requires 5+ years in accounting, a bachelor’s in accounting or finance (CPA a plus), and strong Excel/ERP experience (Acumatica preferred). Based in Denver or Logan with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required (CPA a plus).
• 5+ years of proven accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting/analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to derive insights.

Responsibilities

• Ensure integrity and accuracy of the general ledger.
• Perform month-end close, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Collaborate with AR and AP to ensure accuracy of records.
• Conduct monthly account reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Assist with annual audits and financial reporting under GAAP.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and management.
