Job summary

Koch Foods Inc. in Mississippi is seeking an experienced accounting professional to support the Accounting Manager and Controller with day-to-day activities, including general ledger, financial reporting, product costing and results analysis.

You will help monitor and analyze financial performance, prepare month-end close, and assist with the annual audit in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 4+ years of relevant experience,

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent; preferably in Accounting, Finance or other closely related field.
• 4+ years relevant accounting experience; preferably within a similar manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of accounting/auditing principles and practices
• Knowledge of fixed assets in a manufacturing setting
• Expert technology and computer skills, with advanced knowledge of Excel
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Work around live and/or raw animal odors.
