Koch Foods Inc. in Morton, MS is seeking an accounting clerk to support the finance team with day-to-day bookkeeping and clerical tasks. The role involves maintaining records, posting to the general ledger, and assisting with bank deposits and reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, strong Excel and Access skills, and a keen eye for accuracy. An associate degree or accounting certification is preferred.

• General knowledge of bookkeeping practices and basic accounting procedures.
• Strong technology and computer skills, with knowledge of Excel and Access.
• Organized with attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Provide accounting and clerical support.
• Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
• Assist with bank deposits and general ledger postings.
• Enter financial transactions.
• Research and track accounting or documentation discrepancies.
• Create, edit and prepare reports.
• All other relevant duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Typical office environment within a manufacturing plant utilizing computers, telephones and other office equipment.
• Frequently sit for long periods.
• Occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
• May be exposed to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
• May be exposed to damp, wet, and cold environments.
• May work around live and/or raw animal odors.
