Job summary

LHH is seeking a skilled Accountant to lead month-end close, prepare journal entries, and analyze variances to ensure accurate financial statements. The role requires a strong GAAP foundation, advanced Excel, and ERP experience.

Collaborate with operations and management to deliver financial insights, support forecasting, and assist with audits and regulatory compliance. This position is based in Columbus, Ohio, with standard full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, and account reconciliations.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience working with an ERP system.
• Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERPs such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
