Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant for a growing organization in the Greater Cleveland, Ohio area. This position will play a key role in month-end close, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives while partnering with cross-functional teams to support business operations.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, at least three years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3+ years of accounting experience required.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances.
• Support audits, financial reporting, and compliance activities.
• Contribute to process improvements and special projects.
