Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assists in the preparation of various account analyses and reconciliations
• Prepares monthly journal entries
• Provides financial/analytical support to various departments
• Calculates month-end accruals
• Researches issues
• Assists in the collection and dissemination of financial information
• Develops complex ad hoc reports and financial analyses
• Escalates issues noted to management in a timely manner
• Identifies opportunities for process improvements
• Ability to prepare clear and concise documentation
• Performs additional duties as assigned
• Meets attendance and punctuality standards

Qualifications, Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities and Working Conditions

• Bachelors Degree or above required
• Largely self-directed, able to seek out objectives and complete them with minimal management input
• Approximately 3 - 15 years experience in Accounting or Finance
• Initiates projects and sets timelines and expectations
• Assigns duties and resources where necessary to achieve success
• Analyzes data required to recommend business solutions
• Constantly identifies new sources of business data
• Forecasts impact of each solution and implements best solution
• Measures impact after implementation and adapts solution as necessary
